Easy Pasta with Camembert

Italians affirm that there are two types of people: those who eat pasta once a day and those who eat twice. If it weren’t because I have to keep in tone my god sculted body, I would be one of those that eat pasta twice a day! But to do so without getting bored, you need some variety on the recipes so that each time it tastes like a complete different dish, even though the main character of the dish is always the same ingredient.

Jamie Oliver surprised me again with this recipe, showing em a complete new flavour I was not familiar with. Moreover, this pasta is perfect when having friends over, as it is easy to cook and leave ready beforehand.

INGREDIENTS (for 4 ppl):
  • One camembert cheese, of those that come in the wooden rounded box.
  • A handful of fresh rosemary.
  • 2 garlic cloves.
  • 100grs of freshly grated parmesan.
  • 300grs of spinach.
  • 50-100gr of pinenuts.
  • Fresh black pepper.
  • 400gr (100gr for each person) of your favourite pasta.

PREPARATION:
  • Get rid of the plastic container the cheese is in, but PLACE IT AGAIN IN THE WOODEN BOX. It will be our cooking recipient.
  • With a sharp small knife, open a whole on the top of the cheese, so it is open.
  • Finely chop the rosemary and the garlic, to cover the cheese with them. Add some pepper and a bit of olive oil.
  • Bake at 160ºC for 20 min in the oven.
  • Meanwhile, cook the pasta following the instructions on the box.
  • In the last two minutes of the pasta, add the spinaches with the pasta.
  • Before straining the pasta, save half glass of the water.
  • Mix the pasta and the spinaches with the pinenuts, the camembert, the saved water and the freshly grated parmesan.

Bon Profit!
